Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)

SHIFT: Full-time Monday through Thursday plus call (the exact shift hours are being confirmed with the facility)

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. Position is for an Interventional Radiology Tech. Prefer experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a Hospital Setting. Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program; Associates degree preferred; current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification; current State of Oregon License. American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certification required. (may obtain within 6 months based on department discretion). Under the supervision of the Diagnostics Imaging management team, the IR Technologist is responsible for setting up IR rooms specific to the study being conducted. Utilizes customer service skills while interacting with patients as well as family members to create a caring atmosphere during their visit.performs general radiographic, fluoroscopic, operative, emergency and portable procedures. As part of this, the Technician utilizes sound judgment in selection of exposure factors, and appropriate patient care, safety and infection control practices. Must demonstrate competency in the operation of all equipment, quality control and clerical tasks required to carry out duties.
