Job Description & Requirements

Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Med Tech. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. Performs all routine and most special laboratory tests, participates in quality control and quality assurance programs, care and maintenance of equipment, assists in keeping test methods and procedures current. May be responsible for a section of the department. Identifies the difference in age specific needs of the patients and implements. Educational/Licensing:Baccalaureate degree or equivalent in training and experience as outlined in CLIA and Oregon State Health Department Regulations and MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Qualifications:MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or equivalent. Current experience as generalist with strong background in transfusion medicine.
