Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care

Caribbean blue scrubs. MUST HOLD CURRENT ACTIVE VA LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. MUST HAVE RECENT TRAVEL EXPERIENCE. RT LICENSE, BLS, ACLS & NRP REQUIRED. Meditech experience is huge. NICU background preferred. 2+ years of RECENT HOSPITAL experience. 50 mile radius rule. No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year. MUST HAVE recent travel experience. Active VA license, CRT or RRT, BLS, ACLS, and NRP required. Prefer PALS. Patient Ratios: Approx. 20-30 patient procedures per RCP/ 12 hr shift. Type of equipment: Servo I vents, Radiometer ABG analyzers. Documentation system: Meditech. Floating policy: Can work all areas, but not charge duty. Patient Experience requirements: 2 years, Full time critical care adults and NICU. Must have: Vent care, emergency airway care, all treatments, arterial punctures, Alines, BIPAP, able to work well in small team setting, must be flexible with assignments, HFNC competency, 12 lead EKG experience, and finally compassionate focus on patient care. The facility expanded services in the NICU, New ABL90 ABG instruments acquired. Increased trauma services. Good teamwork in department and with the critical care Nurses.
