Registered Respiratory Therapist

1+ years of experience. 50 mile radius rule. No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year. Adults only. Oklahoma license in hand. Must have Critical Care experience. MODIFIED CREDENTIALING. We work in all areas (Floors, ICU, Emergency department). Patient Ratios - Use AARC guidelines for assigning workload (so many minutes per task assigned). Type of equipment - Ventilators: PB840, Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, Vision Bipap, High flow units, Vest machine, Metaneb machine, INO vent. EMR - Meditech (will be changing to EPIC in 2022?). Must have: BLS and ACLS are required for adult staff. Critical care experience (minimum 1 year). Preferred or nice to have: Critical care experience. General medication delivery as well as lung expansion and airway clearance therapy, Non-invasive ventilation and High flow oxygen therapy. We do draw arterial blood gases on the floor and in the critical care units as well as respond to all Rapid response and Code blue pages. In the ICU we do the previously mentioned as well as care for patients on conventional ventilation, high frequency ventilation, Inhaled nitric oxide, High flow oxygen delivery, bedside bronch and trach assistance as well as perform Mini BAL procedures as well as other tasks. We have all types of personalities! We do hold staff to our PACCT guidelines and expect them to treat everyone with respect and kindness at all times, no exceptions. No facial piercings and tattoos on arms need to be covered while in patient care.
