Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care
Dress code is Caribbean blue scrubs. RRT only. 2+ years of experience AND the most recent 2 years MUST be in a hospital setting ONLY. There is an 50 mile radius rule. No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year.Number of Beds : 80 inpatient beds. Patient Ratios: Per treatment load. No more than 45 therapies per 12 hour shift. Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 2 therapist per shift. Type of equipment: 980 ventilators, V60 bipaps, Hudson HFNC heaters. Auto CPAP. Documentation system: Meditech. Scheduling requirements: 3- 12 shifts with rotating weekends. Patient Experience requirements: Know department 2x2’s. Floating policy: N/A. Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Procedures performed on unit: Bronchoscopies, intubation, and code blue assistance.
