Job Description & Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care

4+ years of experience. Cares and treats all patients with respiratory cardiac illness. Works assigned schedule. Report to work for scheduled shifts 12 hour therapist perform all aspects of care for COPD, asthmatics, etc patient. Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training; Graduate of accredited program in Respiratory Therapy. State License/certification or registry in Respiratory Therapy 15 CEU 2 years. Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Pushes/pulls or moves/equipment. Lifts heavy supplies up to 25 pounds frequently. Occasionally needs to lift items up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases. Regularly exposed to the risk of blood borne diseases. Exposed to hazardous anesthetic agents, body fluids and wastes.

Required Qualifications

Oregon licensed RRT Certifications Needed & Specific Requirements: OR RT License, ACLS,BLS, PALS, NRP Contract Length in weeks: 13 or shorter / longer, let us know how long of a contract is needed in the interview or submission and we can make it work! Shift length and time: 12 hour shifts, 6pm-6:30am, Varied Shifts Guaranteed Hours a week: yes Job Description : Knowledgeable and proficient in the performance of general respiratory therapy, Bi-pap/C-pap Setup, Ventilator setup and management, EKG. Employee must work independently with direction from their immediate supervisor. Employee will work closely with the medical staff to meet their needs as well as the hospital staff on a daily basis.
