Job Description & Requirements

Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute

Speech Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients referred for Speech therapy services. Responsibilities include: assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting and modifying treatment programs; communicates speech recommendation with caregivers, participates in discharge planning and patient/family/caregiver education; participates in administrative duties and Performance Improvement; pursues professional growth; performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

MUST HAVE ACTIVE FL LIC TO SUBMIT NEED SS # MUST have “recent” SLP ACUTE CARE experience – 2 yrs MBS experience preferred Shift Days: 8:00AM - 6:00PM (Mon - Thurs). Fridays 8a-4p Must have Pediatrics feeding and speech We will need to know the following on candidates submitted: 1. What coursework have they completed related to pediatric feeding? 2. Youngest feeding patient they have worked with?
