Sonographer - Diagnostic
START DATE: 1/7/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Monday thru Friday days, not sure of exact shift. 8-1630 most likely. REQUIRED SKILLS: 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. FOR OUTPATIENT. EMR is EPIC. Brown Scrubs. Free on-sit parking. The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
