Job Description & Requirements

Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

2+ years of experience. This person should have a Microbiology background with Sunquest LIS and Panther/Molecular instrumentation experience preferred. The selected individual would be utilized to help with testing Covid19 samples, amongst other things. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required or three years of college and completion of one year CAHEA accredited school of medical technology required, or Bachelor of Science in chemistry, biological or physical sciences plus one year of experience/training in the specialty/subspecialty in which the tests are performed required, or three years of accredited college course work and completion date in compliance with Pennsylvania clinical laboratory regulation required.

Required Qualifications

Performs and reports various analyses from multiple specimen sources. Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area Microbiology or Molecular Microbiology experience preferred. u5:p Sunquest and/or Beaker training would also be helpful.u5:p Education: Bachelor's Degree- (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Medical Technology (Preferred)
